The shell is composed of lightweight ABS thermoplastic resign making it very strong and durable. The interior of the helmet is made polyester which is very soft and comfortable and well as removable and or replaceable. For proper fit and size measure the circumference of your head 1" above your eyebrows and around the largest portion of the back of your head. 20 7/8" - 21 1/4" = X-Small; 21 5/8" - 22" = Small; 22 3/8" - 22 3/4" = Medium; 23 1/4" - 23 5/8" = Large; 24" - 24 3/8" = X-Large; 24 3/4" - 25 1/4" = XX-Large. DOT Certified.

Great value!

I bought this helmet elsewhere since it was on sale cheaper. I wanted something feminine but not pink or purple and this was perfect. I have a big head and would have thought I'd need a large but I found an online GLX size chart and went by that ordering a medium. It fits great! The cheek pads were a little tight for the first wear but have already started to conform. The air flow is good and you can shut the front vent which will be nice in winter. I am definitely happy with this purchase :)

Great helmet!

I do not ride frequently with my husband, but before I had borrowed a helmet from a friend and it did not fit well at all, way too big. So when I ordered this one I was very happy with the fit. I feel much safer now! The padding is comfortable, it breathes nice, and the design is different which I like. I was very happy with this product.

It first appears they spent more time on the finish than the actual design, however, that is not the case. The helmet looks and feels solid, the chin vent looks static but actually has a opener on the inside - I assume for aesthetics, not practical while riding. I don't know how well the vents work as this is intended for a passenger. Liners should hold up better than my EXO-400. The shield has a good ratchet system, that should stay in place however closing it while riding would require the use of a palm - minor annoyance. I don't know how loud it is either as compared to other helmets(KBC VR2R, AFX FX100, Bell Arrrow, Scorpion EXO-400)For the price I would buy it again, for a passenger I'm sure she wouldn't complain. GLX helmets should be on your list for the next time you replace yours, just check other sale prices first and you may get a better deal.
