Excellent value for motorcycle or snowmobile

I ride a motorcycle year-round here in the frozen north, and I wanted a good all-around helmet. The Gmax arrived yesterday and, since it's 80 degrees around here now, I promptly removed the chin dam and the nasal deflector. Both items appear to be perfectly designed for doing their cold-weather jobs. Chin dam was snug, nasal deflector didn't seem to get in the way of my (good-sized) nose. :)

The helmet fit perfectly, meaning the sizing matches both my HJC and my Nolan helmets. The vents all open & close properly, the chinbar latch worked easily, the sun visor and face shield operate smoothly. The LED on the back has off, on, and two flashing modes (slow, fast). I *may* investigate getting the brake light module so it comes on with your brakes. (About $30.)

On the road it was very quiet, the field of visibility was excellent, and the Coolmax liner kept me comfy at 80 degrees. Sun visor is dark, meaning I either need to switch to lighter tint sunglasse s or lose them except when I'm headed right into a low sun.

All-in-all a very nice helmet, especially for motorcyclists who ride in cold weather.
