My wife and I have 4 of these helmets. 2 in silver and 2 in black, as we have 2 bikes, one at home and one at our camp in NH. These are great helmets, I went to this helmet from a beanie, and for my wife, this is the only helmet she has worn that does not make her head itch ! We have the gold shields on our black helmets and the silver on our silver helmets. These work excellent, and never a need for sunglasses.

A nice helmet but for some reason corners were a little short. The visor is not dark enough. I purchased the darkest replacement made and it still is not as dark as my sunglasses. It would have been nice if HJC allowed two sunvisors to be attached at the same time.

Another issue is lack of a overhanging sun visor but the shield would prevent the helmet from having one. The clear front shield should have been heavy tinted at the bottom 2 inches. Pull the shield up and it would become an instant sun shade visor.

The helmet did not fit as well as the previous HJC and it was a size smaller. Go figure.

The headsets in the ears were not cut out making installation very difficult. I had to totally take the ear liners out as well as the foam to do a decent job of cutting the headset holes. It would have been really nice if this was pre-cut at the factory to make headset easier to install.

Overall it seems to be a good helmet, al beit it could have had larger holes for the ventilation.
